Joyce Elaine (Ceccoli) Lombardy

Joyce E. (Ceccoli) Lombardy, 94, of Sandusky, OH passed away peacefully late Thursday morning, February 5, 2026, in the Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky.

   Born on February 22, 1931, in Carey, OH the daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth (Black) Ceccoli.  Joyce was a 1949 graduate of Sandusky High School.  

   She was the secretary / treasurer for many years at J.C. Ready Mix, before retiring. 

   Joyce was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Italian-American Beneficial Club Ladies Auxiliary and over the years she had volunteered her time at Providence Hospital Gift Shoppe for many years.  

   She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Dave) Dudley and Kristen Lombardy; and a son, Thomas J. Lombardy; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.

   Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Richard H. Brown.

   It was her wish to be cremated.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Joyce on Friday morning, July 31, 2026, at 10 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH. Inurnment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.

   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the C.C.B.A. (Central Catholic Athletic Boosters) , 410 W. Jefferson Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
