Ann Margaret (Kreidler) Losey

 Ann Margaret (Kreidler) Losey, 92, of Sandusky, OH passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, February 26, 2026, with her family at her side in the Stein Hospice Care Center, in Sandusky.

   Born on June 3, 1933, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Luke and Margarette (Kneisler) Kreidler.  She had attended Perkins and St. Mary's High School.

   In her earlier days, she had worked at Mark's Market, before she got married to her husband, John R. "Bud" Losey in 1957.  After raising her family, Ann went back to work at the Perkins High School Cafeteria for 30 years, before retiring in 1999.

   In years past, she had volunteered at the State Theatre and at Firelands Hospital for several years.

   Ann was a longtime member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where she had also been an active member of the Bereavement Committee for a number of years.

   She is survived by a son, John H. (Michelle Corso) Losey of Huron; two granddaughters, Rachel (Xavier Pollard) Losey and Ashley (Ben) Carolus; a grandson, Jeremy Corso; great-granddaughter, Phoenix; a sister, Louise (John) Neese of Myrtle Beach, SC; and many nieces and nephews.

   Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 38 years, John R. "Bud" Losey on November 13, 1995; her son, Michael J. "Mike" Losey on November 9, 2017; and her two brothers, Herb and Paul Kreidler.

   It was Ann's wish to be cremated.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning, March 4, 2026, from 8:30 am until 9:45 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Ann at 10 am at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Her nephew, Fr. Rodney Kreidler will be officiating.  Interment will be held later in the day at Meadow Green Memorial Park, in Huron, OH.

   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to one's favorite charity.
